LET'S PLAY COPS AND ROBBERS.

This is a plot coordination community for law/investigation-oriented characters and their criminal counterparts in the game Asgard Eventide ([community profile] asgardeventide).

Because the game is large and busy and can be hard to follow, the purpose of this player-run side community is to be a central repository of information about events that are under way and to help us get our characters working together. We can discuss/track potential cases, note where information is being given out, how CR can be developed, and so on. People who play criminals can post about what their characters are up to and note whether or not they're looking to get caught, or are looking for accomplices or crimes to commit.

Any current Asgard player is welcome to join, as long as they're okay with following a few simple rules:

1. Conduct rules are the same as they would be in any other game-related community. Treat other players with respect and consideration.

2. Don't be exclusionary.
------Signup posts for big plots must go on [community profile] asgarddawning (It's OK to post a redirect notice here: "Hi, guys, I have a plot signup over here on the OOC comm...")
------Posts here should never be friends-locked to the community without a very good reason (such as if the information contained in them is meant to be a cool surprise for the rest of the players). That means the vast majority of posts should be public.

3. Don't info-mod: your character can't magically know something just because you read it here. However, this will be a good place to figure out with other players how you can get a vital piece of information into your character's hands in the game itself!

Suggestions of things to post: specific plots and links to posts/conversations/logs that affect them, notes about what your criminal mastermind or genius detective is like, things your character has done that might ping interested parties, etc.

You should also take a look at the subject tag list.

(The reasons for the rules here are to sidestep some complaints we've heard about plotting comms in the past. We don't want people who don't follow this comm to feel like their characters are shut out!)

If your character is a criminal who wants to get involved in the black market, our sister comm [community profile] asgardballers should be their next stop. They will still need to learn of the black market's existence IC-ly from another character who's already involved with it.
