Hi guys! I'm new to this (particular) community, and I plotted around with a mod. I applied a very unstable character who will be acting on it very soon (I would have put it off about a month, but the character in question is very violent very quickly and would start something nearly the moment she arrived, powered or not).

I want her eventually detained, depowered, whatever it takes to eventually put her down and out of commission in the violence-sense, but I figure it's fair plot to put her actual crimes out there and string her up like a crime piñata.

(that made no sense, I'm sorry)

Well - if anyone at all is still interested in the bank robbery. Here's the 1st clue to have fun with!

If no one is interested, I completely understand, it was a poorly done plot and no one is more sad than I that it wasn't very good. Nevertheless, it was something that happened and if no one wants to play with it any longer then the money can be handwaved as recovered with 6k of it missing and having been split between the crooks.

I'm sorry to anyone who was looking forward to that but it's just too complicated a thing to put into log form with a group of people. The aftermath is all that will be written.

When the peacekeepers or whoever is interested in solving this mystery arrive at the scene of the crime I will be replying in narration form to help with evidence and clues. That way anyone involved can do their thing. <3

Hey guys! This is mostly directed at the Forensic Unit, but since we will be looking for more recruits/contacts soon, I'm posting it here so that interested parties can see what's going on and decide if they want to be part of it and perhaps villainous parties can go, 'geez, these guys just don't have enough going on -- let's get some criminality all up in this joint!'

First off -- apologies! I have not been around as much as I would have liked to be, and I suspect that some of you are in the same boat! So first off a quick summary of things that have happened recently and things that are coming up.

- Diva, Charles and Trucy dropping! While I'm sure that no one in the department is going to be grieving Diva's departure, we've benefited a lot from the CR her serial killing has generated. I think we've discovered all of the bodies she left behind and have enough evidence to close the case -- especially since Charles's player has volunteered Rise to find the most recent body Charles was slated to find and start working with the Forensic's Unit in his absence. I think it'd be good for our characters to have some closure but also a really nice way to say thank you for all the things Diva-mun did for us by wrapping this up -- I'm thinking a final meeting where we share all the facts our characters gathered and put the case to bed. Anyone interested/want to host/got anything else to add to the meeting? Let me know!

- Will Lane. This is the detective persona created and maintained by L and Near to allow L to work anonymously on cases. They're working on getting the name out there with a view to getting more access and involvement to the cases that occur in Asgard.

- Day 123. Velige turns into a lion! Find him here. Also happening Day 123, the Traveller Festival in which Castle outs himself as an author. If you have other Traveller Fest links you'd like to share, please feel free to link them in the post -- the entire post is causing issues for the friends I'm staying with's net connection.

Coming up:

-Keine's planning post! Conan's been talking to her here and more productively to Koizumi here -- still too early to say what exactly is going to be decided and what action will be taken, but I think Conan will definitely be raising this idea at Keine's meeting, and it's fair to say that he'll mention it at the Forensic Unit's morning meeting.

- Yuri's plot. Growing dissastisfied with the lack of justice in the city, our very own Judge Petrov is going to be taking matters into his own hands! More infomation here!

- August 15th - 22cnd. The Darkness Plot. Now, the Forensics Unit has some NPC staff members that I would love to see effected by this. Annalie's and Conan are pretty close since they've been working together a while, so I'm waiting on seeing whether Taken NPCs will come back to decide what happens to her. Otherwise the other members -- Sander Visser, Henrik, Jonas and Thea are free to play/plot with! I think at least one of them won't be turning up for work Day 129 -- shall we say Thea? And Unit members are free to spot her acting erratically the night of Day 128.

Otherwise, general Darkness plotting goes here -- Conan and Kaito have a double post in planner where they stumble upon an NPC body during the event, so there is that to start with!

- Late August, post Darkness plot. Samantha Grey is going to be moving into the illicit substances market. Without laws in Asgard, these substances are not actually illicit, but she has a plotting post to generate discussion over on asgardballers -- take a look!

-September 1-7 Moriarty's Bank Job!

Generally, in the wake of Trucy and Charles leaving, the Forensics Unit is now Conan, Kate, Loewe and the NPC squad, with Yuri, Castle, 'Will Lane' aka Near and L, and Bobby (possibly Mycroft, the Sherlocks and Watson) peripherally involved. Kick me if I have forgotten someone -- I know I've been out of it while travelling, and my memory is shocking (this post is as much for my benefit as it is you guys -- I'm hoping you'll see stuff I've forgotten and go, Lou, wait a minute --) . I'd like to recruit more people for the unit. So far Conan is aware of Koizumi, Naoto and Rise as possibly interested people, but your character is free to put the word out that we are looking for more people!

Hey All! Moriarty mun here with an update on the bank robbery plot!

Mods have approved it for the first week of September (1-7).

So the rest of August is plotting time!

I've asked the mods to give me information about the bank and they have been more than helpful! However there is one bit I will need to leave to you guys. And that is the matter of who responds to this crime.

I am aware there is no response team to crimes occurring in the city as there isn't a large motivation from the native population for it. (This might change things though, who knows!) But for the individuals interested in peacekeeping I'd really like to know who would pursue this robbery and who would be willing to follow the trail of clues! Pretty please respond in a timely fashion? Thank you everyone!

Potential Plot Discussion: Addictive Substances

So... I really am a horrible person sometimes. Some recent discussions jogged this little thought into my head, and it won't dislodge. I've started a discussion up over at Ballers on this, and I'd like the Justice League of Asgard's side of this in discussing things.

TL/DR: As Samantha will be putting her business app in late August, and in all likelihood become an available element within the black market over at ballers, the possibility of a Magical-Drug related plot exists. I wanted input on whether the justice side thinks this is a great idea to plot opposite, or would really just prefer not to deal with in Asgard. I'm going to touch base with the mods and double check the feasibility of this, as I've already been discussing potions/herbs with them. Also, if you have any things (provided you like this idea for a plot) to say regarding the 'type' of illicit substance, I'd love to hear those too.

Anywho. As most of you are surely aware by now, James Moriarty is an equal opportunist criminal. His resume ranges from international terrorism to fraud and extortion. Needless to say: a Very Bad Man. Who also happens to get bored a lot. Not a fun combo.

What I am leading up to here is James Moriarty's first grand caper - done purely for shits and giggles and maybe to fun a nice house outside of the community housing and some more expensive clothes and connections with the baddies.

We're gonna rob the bank of Asgard.

More (delayed) plotting

Hey, everyone! Yuri's player here. I'm still planning on going ahead with the vigilante plot, outlined here. I am sorry for the delay, but RL intervened! Now I am planning to do it next month (delaying it until after a plot of Conan's). Again, I'll be making a post in the main OOC comm closer to the date--soon, hopefully!

The first three victims will be those named by Johan.

Yuri will record and anonymously play back the three confessions of these "sinful ones" on the network, to make it absolutely clear why they are being killed. He will be wearing a full-body costume of his own design and make, yet it will not be like his canon costume. It will be black in color, and the face will appear to be completely featureless. If asked, he will claim to "have no name and no face". At least at first, he will leave no physical traces behind. His voice will be distorted in any and all recordings. He will use fire, but will also use an accelerant, so evidence will not necessarily point to a user of Fire Magic.

If anyone else would like to have their character killed or suggest an NPC to killed, that can be arranged. The only qualification is that Yuri must have a reason to believe the character is "evil", a danger to others, and guilty of a violent crime or crimes. He won't hesitate to kill a Traveler, even if they will be returned to life.

Suggestions are welcome, of course!

EDIT: This may be closer to/in August, as the mods say July will be fairly busy, but I'll have to wait to see the calendar before deciding.

asgard black market

Just to complete the circle of posting things, Asgard has a black market now! Sort of similar to this community, it's contained in its own community, asgardballers, since I figured the kind of plotting that would take place for the black market would be pretty different from the kind that's relevant here! That being said, hopefully they'll be sister communities!

For the justice types, giving this post a look over should give you the general idea of the community, what the black market is for, and other miscellaneous things, though if you still have questions, you can ask here or on the FAQ!

For now, the black market is going to be on a purely economic basis, though it could possibly expand to more questionable activities (which will be crossposted here, naturally), but it's still something for justice types to keep in mind! It's not necessarily easy to discover, since you have to hear about it from someone who already knows about it, but once one person in the justice side of things discovers it, they're free to tell everyone else, duh.

So yeah! Hopefully this will add something fun to the game ♥

Future Plotting

Hello, justice friends! It's Fox, Yuri Petrov's player here.

I'm on hiatus now, but I'm planning to have Yuri take up his vigilantism soon in Asgard. It's kind of a compulsion, so he can't help himself. After this conversation with Johan, he's much more riled up and has the names of potential native targets. (Since Johan is the murderer whisperer, after all.)

Yuri will be very public about his crimes, as he wants to deter others by letting them know they'll be punished. He'll be letting everyone know all about it, and will even be open to some anonymous Q&A afterward.

If you're familiar with his canon, Yuri is going to be varying his MO, because the danger of anyone from his world associating Yuri Petrov with his alter ego Lunatic is too great. He has a new costume and everything. He'll still be burning people, as that's a given, but he'll be using an accelerant, even though he doesn't need one, so as not to necessarily implicate a user of fire magic such as himself.

If anyone would like to plot with me regarding this, that would be great! I'd prefer Yuri go some time without being caught, but I'm not at all adverse to him being found out eventually. On the law enforcement side of things, he'll work with those who want to catch him, just like he does back home. Also, he wont hesitate to kill Travelers, even if he knows they'll be brought back. If anyone wants Yuri to kill or attempt to kill their character, I'd be happy to arrange it. I'm very open to ideas!

I'll be posting about this in asgarddawning as well once I get a bit closer to the time I am actually going to do something with it, but it will likely be starting this month.

Law Enforcement: question?

Anyway, Kate is relatively new to Asgard and is still trying to figure things out.

But she is a detective at heart, and is going to want to get involved with any kind of law enforcement that is going around, if there is any.

I guess my question would be is there anyone she could contact / find / is there a way for her to get in contact with someone who knows a little more about what is going on as far as law enforcement is concerned?

She has spoken with Conan about giving a sort of 'lecture' about police protocol and such, but I didn't know if there was any other kind of coordination and/or communication going around. Because Kate would be the one getting in contact with people and trying to figure it out.

This isn't exactly a CR meme. Instead, it's meant to give you a chance to talk about your character in the specific context of them being involved in law enforcement or crime. Give us a brief run-down, and some good CR could be the result!
